This kestrel allowed me within 10 feet of him before flying off. I was amazed. I had never seen a kestrel up close before and didn't know much about them.
A naturalist friend shared that kestrels are birds of prey and are the smallest of the falcons. He told me that he has seen kestrels boldly chase much larger birds. What a fearless act, I say.
As I watched this kestrel, I had a wondering. Did this bird appear as a reminder to live fearlessly?
Perhaps it’s time to take some chances...
