A friend recently purchased a new home. As she packed her belongings, she lamented the excessive number of things she was boxing up to transport to her new house. After weeding out what she could live without, she still had a lot of stuff.
We humans have so many possessions.
In my wanderings this week, I came across these colorful turtles. As I watched them, I had a thought. They were carrying all they needed on their backs. No furniture, no knickknacks, no mementos, able to change locations at a moment’s notice.
I suspect the turtles are on to something. How much stuff do we actually need?
Something to ponder…inspired by beautiful turtles.
