A few days ago, I spotted this eagle preening high up in a tree, and I had a thought. Animals instinctively know when and how to care for themselves. When it’s time, they stop everything and attend to their physical needs.
I’ve heard it said that our bodies have an innate intelligence. They’re designed to let us know what they need in order to operate optimally. As humans, we sometimes ignore the signals our bodies give us. We go and go and go, overriding our knowing that our body needs tendering.
We have only one physical body that must last an entire lifetime. I say thank you to the eagle for the reminder to pay attention…
