One very windy day last week, I spotted several eagles gliding on the strong wind currents. Eagle sightings always take my breath away.
While the gusts nearly bowled me over, these birds were having the time of their lives. They allowed the wind to take them...no resistance.
How I envied them. So much ease and grace as they flowed with the breeze.
And then I had a thought. All animals flow with the rhythms of the Earth. Their very survival depends upon their attunement to Her signals.
Over time, we humans have lost our connection to the Earth’s nuances and natural guidance. We’re just beginning to understand how Her nature operates in an impeccably harmonious and brilliant manner when allowed to flow freely.
Perhaps the eagles are the reminder that partnering with the Earth is a key…a key to supporting all life on our beautiful planet.
I listened to the eagles’ exuberant cries as they landed in the trees, expressing their gratitude for the grand adventure.
And I say thank you to these magnificent beings for allowing me to share in their exhilarating experience…
